When Branches Quarrel The Roots Embrace

“In The Forest, When The Branches Quarrel, The Roots Embrace.”

This proverb reminds us that beneath conflict and division lies a shared human foundation.

Yet across the world today, impunity has become the loudest noise in the canopy, Legacy & The Lost Library – upheld by three powerful forces:

The Three P’s

  1. unbridled Power,
  2. untitled Privilege, and
  3. ill-begot Pesa

These forces silence accountability, distort fairness, and weaken the social fabric that holds societies together.

Unbridled power dismisses oversight and elevates leaders above consequence.

Untitled privilege rewards a chosen few with invisible advantages they’ve never earned.

Ill-begot money corrodes institutions, turning public resources into private fortunes.

Together, these pillars create a global pattern where the branches clash and compete, while the roots—trust, unity, and shared purpose—begin to crack.

But impunity is not our natural state.

Our original human wiring is built on empathy, respect, and dignity—values that allow communities to thrive.

When leaders practice power with rather than power over, when privilege is transformed into responsibility, and when dignity guides how wealth is earned, societies begin to heal.

These values shift us from exploitation to inclusion, from cynicism to possibility.

When we return to our shared values, the forest regains its harmony.

And no matter how fiercely the branches quarrel, the roots once again embrace—renewing the strength, integrity, and hope of the whole.
