How often have you had your local and regular fruit and vegetable vendor offer you the most pulpous sweet mangoes and juicy oranges laced with a warm smile and generosity that is as rare as can be.
This is even before you have had a look and contemplated an order.
Wangari has been serving Carol’s family for over 15 years and it shows.
On every home visit a stop at Wangari’s stall is a must. A customary sampling of a few jokes, current events chattering and then to business for stocking up the next few weeks supply in the city.
I had the privilege to be hosted by her and partake of the luscious mangoes during our recce visit to the farm at Kihome, Othaya Nyeri County.
That is a “customer for life “value in practice.
